Datasheet for Maxim Integrated MAX811/MAX812 voltage monitors that provide manual reset input and low‑power operation.
The MAX811 and MAX812 are low‑power microprocessor supervisory circuits that monitor supply voltage and generate a reset signal when the voltage falls below a preset threshold. They include a debounced manual‑reset input and are offered in a 4‑pin SOT143 package.
The devices differ only in reset output polarity: MAX811 has an active‑low RESET output, while MAX812 provides an active‑high output. Both support multiple reset‑threshold options and operate over a –40 °C to +85 °C temperature range, making them suitable for portable and battery‑powered equipment.
| Supply Current | 6 µA |
|---|---|
| Reset Active Timeout Period | 140 ms |
| Package Type | 4‑pin SOT143 |
| Operating Voltage Range | 3 V to 5 V |
| Reset Threshold Options | L 4.63 V, M 4.38 V, T 3.08 V, S 2.93 V, R 2.63 V |
