Frequently asked questions

What oil viscosity should be used with the YAC lubrication units?

Only new lubricant with a viscosity between 30 and 250 cSt should be used; higher viscosity may damage the unit and lower viscosity can cause insufficient pressure or flow.

How can the built‑in pressure be adjusted?

The YAC‑B1P1/YAC‑H1P1 models have a pressure regulator; loosen the nut, turn on power, let oil flow from the relief valve, then tighten the knob to set the desired pressure.

What should be done if no oil is flowing from the unit?

Check that the oil viscosity is correct, verify the level switch is functioning, and ensure the motor is operating; replace any faulty parts as needed.
