About this manual

The Intellijel HexVCA is a Eurorack module featuring six separate DC-coupled logarithmic Voltage Controlled Amplifiers (VCAs). Each VCA has its own input, control voltage (CV) input, and output, with outputs normalled to a summing bus. The module allows users to configure it as six individual VCAs, a six-input voltage-controlled mixer, or any combination thereof. Frequently asked questions

What is the function of the VCA offset knob?

The knob offsets the level of the VCA by injecting 0-5v into the CV input, acting as an initial level control.

How does the HexVCA handle power connection?

It uses a ten-pin power connector conforming to the Eurorack standard, where the lowest pin is -12V.

Can the HexVCA be used as a mixer?

Yes, it can be used as a six-input voltage-controlled mixer where the SUM+ output mixes all VCAs together.
