The NS801B is an online monitoring device for dissolved gases in transformer oil, designed for oil‑immersed transformers, reactors, capacitors, inductors and oil‑immersed bushings. It detects up to seven gases and optional moisture, provides real‑time analysis, alarm functions and remote data transmission.

The NS801B can detect seven gases: hydrogen, methane, acetylene, ethylene, ethane, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, with optional moisture detection.
The device can produce a complete set of detection data in as little as one hour, and the interval can be set by the user.
Both concentration and growth‑rate alarm thresholds can be set arbitrarily in the system.
