The system switches automatically if the primary transmission path experiences no signal (LOS), frame synchronization loss, AIS, or bit errors exceeding 10^-6.
The switching time from the occurrence of frame synchronization failure to completing the system switch is 750 microseconds.
When both power supplies fail, the transmission and reception signals automatically default to the Transmission A line.
