The EXHAUSTO CASV 450 Multi-System is a mechanical draft system for boilers and water heaters, featuring the EBC30 modulating fan control.
About this manual
The CASV 450 Multi-System is a mechanical draft system used to control and maintain draft for multiple or modulating boilers, water heaters, and other Category I‑IV heating appliances. It consists of one or more RSV units, chimney fan(s) and the EBC30 modulating fan control, which keeps draft constant by varying fan speed and can control a VFD via a 0‑10 V signal.
During installation the EBC30 automatically detects connections and stores the planned draft setting entered on the control panel. The system interlocks each appliance, activates the fan on a call for heat, and runs a post‑purge after the last appliance shuts down. Safety functions include draft shutdown on fan or VSD failure and periodic self‑checks.

What happens if the chimney fan loses power?
The integrated proven draft function shuts down the entire system in case of a power failure to the chimney fan or the variable speed drive.
How is the draft setting entered into the system?
The planned draft setting must be entered manually via the control panel during installation.
