This manual introduces the COMSOL Semiconductor Module 5.5, covering its features, physical field interfaces, and educational examples for designing…
The COMSOL Semiconductor Module enables engineers and physicists to design and understand semiconductor devices by modeling steady-state or dynamic performance in one, two, or three dimensions. It combines semiconductor interfaces with circuit modeling and couples with other physics interfaces such as heat transfer, electrochemistry, and photovoltaic effects. The module utilizes the finite volume or finite element method to solve drift-diffusion equations and Poisson equations for coupled partial differential equations. This manual is written in Chinese.
The module can model MOSFETs, MESFETs, JFETs, diodes, and bipolar transistors, among others.
Devices can be analyzed in steady-state, time-domain, and frequency-domain modes.
Users define them by typing appropriate expressions in the User Defined feature without needing scripts or code.
