About this manual

The CS803/809/810 series are low‑power reset circuits that monitor supply or battery voltage and generate a reset signal for microprocessors. They operate without external components, improving system reliability and reducing cost. When the monitored voltage falls below a preset threshold, a valid reset is output; when the voltage rises above the threshold, the reset remains active for at least 140 ms.

The series offers two output options: an open‑drain output for CS803 and CMOS outputs for CS809/810. They work over a wide temperature range (‑40 °C to +125 °C) and maintain reliable operation down to 1.15 V. The devices are supplied in a compact SOT‑23 package.

Frequently asked questions

What is the reset threshold range for the CS803/809/810 series?

The reset threshold can be set from 2.1 V to 5.0 V in 0.1 V increments.

How long does the reset signal stay active after the supply voltage rises above the threshold?

The reset signal remains active for at least 140 ms after the voltage exceeds the threshold.

What output types are provided by CS803 and CS809/810?

CS803 provides an open‑drain (pull‑up) reset output, while CS809 and CS810 provide CMOS reset outputs.

What is the typical supply current at 3.3 V?

Typical supply current is about 8 µA at 3.3 V.
