Disconnect the input power, wait at least 5 minutes for the internal capacitors to discharge, verify that phase voltages are near zero, and wear a grounding wrist strap.
Use a braking resistor that includes a thermal switch, connect it with shielded cable of limited length, and activate the braking chopper function via parameter 27.01.
