LPC2880/2888 is a ARM7-based microcontroller, suitable for applications that require low power consumption and high performance. It contains a USB2.0 high-speed device interface, an external memory interface that can connect SDRAM and flash, a MMC/SD storage card interface, A/D and D/A converters, and serial interfaces including UART, I2C bus, and I2S bus. The addition of multi-channel DMA, processor cache, synchronous operation on multiple internal buses, and a flexible clock generation unit all help to ensure that LPC2880/2888 can handle more demanding applications than many other competing products. The chip can be powered by a single battery, USB, or calibrated 1.8V and 3.3V.
