This document introduces Sun's ILOM 2.0, including the introduction, initial setup, management and configuration of ILOM.
The Integrated Lights Out Manager (ILOM) 2.0 provides out‑of‑band management for servers, allowing administrators to monitor hardware, control power, and manage firmware remotely. The guide covers ILOM concepts, network setup, user‑account roles, and the new features introduced in version 2.0.
Instructions are provided for both command‑line (CLI) and web‑based interfaces, including steps for initial configuration, DHCP or static IP assignment, LDAP/RADIUS authentication, SNMP monitoring, and firmware upgrades. Detailed sections describe system information, sensor readings, event logs, and alert management. This manual is written in Chinese.
