The Remote Field Controller (RBC) is a component of the Apogee Field Management and Control System, and is a high performance remote direct digital control (DDC) managed field controller. The field controllers can operate independently or be networked to perform complex control, monitoring and energy management functions without the intervention of a higher level processor. The Remote Field Controllers provide centralized monitoring and control of local network (FLN) devices and other field systems such as chiller, boilers, fire/life safety, access control and lighting devices. In addition, up to 100 Remote Field Controllers can communicate on a network.
