This document describes the features and characteristics of the PHILIPS P87CL5xX2 high-performance static 80C51 microcontroller produced by Guangzhou Zouligong Single Chip Microcomputer Development Co., Ltd., including the operating voltage range, memory, clock modes, interrupt sources, I/O ports, etc.
The P87CL52X2/54X2 is a high‑performance static 80C51‑compatible microcontroller fabricated with a high‑density CMOS process. It operates from 1.8 V to 3.3 V, offers 256 bytes of RAM, 32 I/O pins, three 16‑bit timers/counters, six interrupt sources and a full‑duplex UART.
The guide lists package options, pin functions, special‑function registers, clock and power‑mode selection, programming and verification procedures, as well as timing diagrams for timers and UART operation. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Operating voltage | 1.8 V–3.3 V |
|---|---|
| RAM size | 256 bytes |
| I/O pins | 32 pins |
| Timers/Counters | 3 × 16‑bit |
| Interrupt sources | 6 sources, 4 priority levels |
| UART | Full‑duplex enhanced UART |
| Maximum clock frequency (12‑clock mode) | 33 MHz |
| Package options | TSSOP‑38, LQFP‑44 |
It supports an idle mode that freezes the CPU while keeping RAM, timers and UART active, and a power‑down mode that retains RAM contents but stops the oscillator and all other functions.
The X2 bit in the CKCON register selects the mode: X2 = 0 for 12‑clock mode, X2 = 1 for 6‑clock mode.
The device is offered in TSSOP‑38 (38‑lead plastic small‑outline) and LQFP‑44 (44‑lead thin‑small‑outline) packages.
The maximum frequency is 33 MHz in 12‑clock mode when VCC is 3.3 V.
