The Kollmorgen PLATINUM® direct drive linear motor (DDL) is a brushless DC motor with high thrust, high precision and zero maintenance. The motor comes in two basic constructions: coreless and iron core. The coreless motor has zero cogging and zero pull-in force, and is suitable for ultra-smooth motion. The iron core motor has a high motor constant (Km) and high thrust density. All motors feature a zero-contact, maintenance-free, brushless design.
The PLATINUM® DDL series from Danaher Motion provides direct‑drive linear motors with no mechanical transmission, offering zero backlash, high stiffness, and maintenance‑free operation. Two basic constructions are offered – a core‑less (无铁芯) version with zero cogging and a core‑type (有铁芯) version with higher thrust density.
The document includes detailed performance tables for each motor size, electrical and mechanical specifications, optional features such as Hall‑effect feedback and cooling, and a step‑by‑step selection guide to help users match thrust, speed and acceleration requirements to the appropriate motor model. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Peak thrust (core‑less) | 60 – 1600 N (13.6 – 360 lbf) |
|---|---|
| Continuous thrust (core‑less) | 21 – 450 N (4.6 – 101 lbf) |
| Peak thrust (core‑type, IC series) | 190 – 15625 N (43 – 3513 lbf) |
| Maximum theoretical acceleration | up to 10 g (large motors) or higher for small motors |
The core‑less PLATINUM DDL motors offer peak thrust from 60 N up to 1600 N (13.6 lbf to 360 lbf).
