The user manual for Hao Yang Biological's human peripheral blood lymphocyte separation medium provides usage, storage, specifications, and safety instructions.
This manual describes the human peripheral blood lymphocyte separation medium, a sterile aqueous solution used to isolate mononuclear cells (mainly lymphocytes) from anticoagulated human blood for immunological testing. The product is formulated with dextran and polyvinylpyrrolidone to achieve a density of about 1.077 g/ml, allowing density‑gradient centrifugation to separate cell layers.
The recommended procedure is to mix fresh anticoagulated blood 1:1 with physiological saline, layer it over the separation medium, and centrifuge at 400 g for 20 minutes using a horizontal rotor with a 15 cm radius. After collection, cells are washed and can be used for downstream assays. Store unopened bottles at 18‑25 °C protected from light (shelf life 2 years); after opening keep at 4 °C and use within one week. Maintain all steps at 20 °C ± 2 °C in a sterile environment. This manual is written in Chinese.
