Vocia® Auxiliary Microphone 1 (VAM-1) is a portable microphone unit designed to serve as a slave device to the Vocia® wall mount and desk call stations (WS-4/10 and DS-4/10) series of call stations, and as a slave device for Vocia Input 6 (VI-6) for calls. Each VI-6 can support up to 4 VAM-1 slave microphones. The VAM-1 consists of a single push-to-talk (PTT) switch and indicator lights that show waiting, talking, and call unavailable states. The microphone clip is a magnetic clip for easy docking with the base. The unit is powered by the host device.
