2022-2023 Healthy Futures Challenge Guide, introducing the overview of Healthy Futures Challenge
This guide explains how schools can participate in the Healthy Futures Challenge, including registration, logging student activity, and awarding incentives. It outlines monthly deadlines, incentive structures, and how to use the online database. Schools are encouraged to promote physical activity and track participation to qualify for prizes.
The guide includes contact information for coordinators, sample parent letters, tips for families, and instructions for using the online database. It also details how to qualify for school-level recognition and student grand prizes based on participation rates.
Qualifying logs must show at least 60 minutes of physical activity during a day, for at least 15 days of the month.
Each month students will receive three items: a sensory bubble keychain, a marble and mesh toy, and a mega push pop elf - plus a raffle ticket to place in a raffle box for a grand prize at the end of the year.
You should enter your students’ participation using the Healthy Futures online database after the end of each challenge month by the deadline listed on page 2.
