The clamp meter has a safety design with a protection rating of CAT.III 300V/CAT.II 600V and pollution degree 2 as specified by the international safety standard IEC 61010. The DC voltage range is particularly useful for checking an emergency power supply. The pointer lock feature makes it easy to read in dimly lit or hard-to-read locations. The shrouded transformer jaws further improve safety. An optional temperature probe is available for temperature measurement.
