Push the power switch; the lens extends slightly and the lens cover opens. Push the power switch again to turn it off.
The camera uses two 3 V lithium batteries (CR123A or DL123A).
Attach and adjust the strap as illustrated, then press the SELECT and ADJUST buttons on the DATE model.
