This document introduces the features and characteristics of SIGMACOVER™ 300 tar epoxy paint, including excellent water resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical wastewater resistance, and ability to be applied and cured in low temperatures. The product is a two-component thick slurry polyamine-adduct cured tar epoxy paint, suitable for environments such as ship hulls, ballast tanks, and cathodic protection systems. The colors available are black and brown, with an eggshell gloss finish. The basic data of the product include density, volume solids content, VOC value, recommended dry film thickness, etc. The recommended substrate conditions and temperatures include bare steel, compatible inorganic zinc silicate shop primer surfaces, and atmospheric exposure environments. The substrate temperature during coating application and coating curing should be at least above 5°C to ensure the coating meets the requirements for chemical and mechanical resistance.
SIGMACOVER™ 300 is a dual-component, thick-film polyamine adduct-cured tar epoxy coating designed for high-performance corrosion protection. It features outstanding resistance to seawater, crude oil, and chemical sewage, making it suitable for hull sides and ballast tanks in immersion environments where it can be used with cathodic protection systems. This manual is written in Chinese.
