The SMB118 is a highly integrated and flexible seven-channel power manager designed for use in a wide range of applications. It features digital programming of all major parameters, including output voltage setpoint/margining, sequencing and digital soft start, independent enable/disable outputs, input/output UV/OV voltage thresholds, PWM/PFM mode, and switching frequency. It also has six programmable regulator channels with 1.5% accuracy, a programmable linear Li-Ion battery charger, and other characteristics. The product is suitable for portable media players, digital camcorders/still cameras, smart PDA/camera phones, handheld GPS/PDAs, TFT-LCD displays/monitors/TVs, and more.
