About this manual

The STDVE103A is a high-speed digital video signal equalizer integrated with a 3:1 HDMI switch. It is designed to support the HDMI v1.3 digital interface with a maximum clock speed of 340 MHz and a data rate of 3.4 Gbps per channel. The device features a fully automatic adaptive equalizer capable of compensating for cable lengths up to 25 meters to overcome jitter effects from lossy cables.

The chip includes integrated 50 Ω input termination resistors on all channels to improve performance and reduce board space. It supports selectable 50 Ω input termination to VCC (3.135 to 3.465 V) and low speed control lines supply to VDD (5 V typical). The STDVE103A is available in a TQFP64 package and is suitable for advanced TVs, front projectors, LCD TVs, PDPs, monitors, notebooks, set-top boxes, and DVD players.
