This document introduces the L6460 SPI configurable stepper and DC multi motor driver, which features operating supply voltage from 13V to 38V, 4 full bridge driver configurable for multi-motor application to drive 2 DC and 1 stepper motor or 4 DC motor.
The L6460 is an integrated motor driver optimized for controlling multi-motor systems, capable of driving combinations of DC and stepper motors. It features four configurable full-bridge drivers that can be arranged in various modes, including dual full bridge, super DC driver, or stepper motor driver with up to 1/16 microstepping.
The device includes extensive power supply management capabilities, such as switching buck regulators, linear regulators, and a battery charger. It is fully protected against thermal shutdown, overcurrent, and undervoltage lock-out, and is available in a TQFP64 exposed pad package.
