The O.S. MAX-61 VF is a high performance engine developed specifically for FAI type R/C contest models. It features schnuerle scavenging and a rear exhaust port for easy installation of a tuned silencer system, especially when built into the fuselage. This engine utilizes specially developed ABC type piston/cylinder construction and a 17mm heavy duty alloy steel crankshaft to provide extra power and durability. It is equipped with an O.S. Type 7D carburettor designed for good throttle response. The engine is manufactured using modern precision machinery and top-quality materials to ensure consistent performance and long life.
