About this manual

The VND5TO50AK-E is a monolithic device made using STMicroelectronics VIPower technology, intended for driving resistive or inductive loads with one side connected to ground. It features an integrated analog current sense that delivers a current proportional to the load current and includes active VCC pin voltage clamp protection against low energy spikes.

The device integrates extensive diagnostic functions such as proportional load current sense, high current sense precision for wide range currents, off-state open load detection, output short to Vcc detection, overload and short to ground latch off, and thermal shutdown. It also offers very low standby current and is optimized for electromagnetic emission and susceptibility.
