This document serves as a quick reference manual for the DuraTrax Nitro Evader BX. It provides essential steps for running the vehicle, such as installing batteries in the glow starter and transmitter, checking throttle and brake functionality, and securing the receiver antenna.
The guide also details specific procedures for starting the engine, including priming when cold and using a glow starter. Additionally, it outlines critical break-in guidelines for the DTX 18 engine to ensure proper performance and longevity during the initial run cycles.
Wrap your finger with a shop towel and place it over the tuned pipe's exhaust exit, then pull the recoil gently until fuel reaches the carburetor.
You only need 10-12 inches of pull to start the engine; do not pull the string to the end.
Ensure the throttle opens all the way when applied and that the brakes work adequately when the trigger is pushed forward.
