VND920 is a double channel high-side solid-state relay with features including CMOS compatible input, proportional load current sense, shorted load protection, undervoltage and overvoltage shutdown, overvoltage clamp, thermal shutdown, current limitation, protection against loss of ground and loss of VCC, very low standby power dissipation, and reverse battery protection.
The VND920 is a double chip device designed in STMicroelectronics ViIPower MOO-3 technology. It is intended for driving any type of load with one side connected to ground, integrating an analog current sense output that delivers a current proportional to the load current.
The device includes comprehensive protection features such as shorted load protection, undervoltage and overvoltage shutdown, thermal shutdown, and automatic restart against overload. It is available in an SO-28 (double island) package.
