This document is a brief introduction to the STEVAL-IFP013V1 IO-Link device demonstration board, which introduces the characteristics of the product, including three-wire connection, support for all communication speeds, additional digital input/output, I2C communication, etc.
The STEVAL-IFP013V1 is a demonstration board designed to showcase an IO-Link device node. Depending on the firmware used, the design functions as a sensor or an actuator. It features an 8-bit microcontroller (STM8S103F3) controlling an IO-Link physical layer (L6362) and supports three-wire connections with selectable system supply voltages of 5V or 3.3V.
| Supply voltage | 8 - 32.5 VDC |
|---|---|
| System supply voltage | 5 V/3.3 V |
| Communication speeds | 4.8, 38.4 and 230 kbps |
| System clock | 11.059 MHz (+2%) |
Depending on the firmware used, the design can function either as a sensor or as an actuator.
The board supports COM1, COM2, and COMS speeds of 4.8, 38.4, and 230 kbps.
