About this manual

The MM74C912 is a 6-digit BCD display controller/driver manufactured by Fairchild Semiconductor using metal gate CMOS technology. It interfaces with a 6-digit, 8-segment LED display by receiving data through five inputs (A, B, C, D, and DP) and digit information through three address inputs (K1, K2, K3). The device contains six 5-bit registers that can be addressed like RAM, allowing data to be written and latched based on control signals CHIP ENABLE (CE) and WRITE ENABLE (WE).
