The ISL3874 is a wireless LAN chip set that integrates a medium access controller and baseband processor. It supports the IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN MAC protocol, including BSS and IBSS operation as well as DCF and PCF operation. It also features automatic scanning and additional functions for access point applications.
