The HI 991002 is a portable, microprocessor-based pH/ORP/temperature meter designed for extended range measurements. It features a waterproof casing, a large dual-line display, and automatic pH calibration capabilities with memorized buffer sets. The device includes a built-in temperature sensor and a mini amplifier to ensure measurements are impervious to noise and electrical interferences.

All Hanna Instruments meters are warranted for two years against defects in workmanship and materials, while probes are warranted for six months.
Press the ON/OFF/MODE button until the display lights up; the meter will show the percent indication of the remaining battery life.
When the level is below 5%, a symbol blinks on the LCD, and if low enough to cause erroneous readings, the Battery Error Prevention System turns the meter off.
