This document is the instruction manual for the HI 96804 refractometer, which describes the specifications, operating principles, functional descriptions, display elements, warnings, error messages, calibration procedures, measurement procedures, changing temperature units, battery replacement, and warranty of the refractometer.
The HI 96804 is a rugged, portable, water-resistant digital refractometer designed to measure the percentage of invert sugar in aqueous solutions. It utilizes an optical method with automatic temperature compensation (ATC) to convert refractive index readings into concentration units quickly and accurately. The device features a dual-level LCD display, a stainless steel sample well, and operates on a single 9V battery.
