This white paper introduces the Intel® Solid State Drive (SSD) D5-P5510 and D5-P5520, two SSDs designed for high-performance and endurance in hyperscale data centers. The Intel® Solid State Drive D5-P5510 uses 3D NAND technology to deliver high throughput and a 1.5 TB capacity, while the Intel® Solid State Drive D5-P5520 uses 64-layer 3D NAND technology to deliver up to 3.0 TB of capacity. Both SSDs use Intel® Optane™ persistent memory technology to provide up to 100 GB of cache, resulting in faster performance and lower latency.
