About this manual

The WZ-TDAD is an option card designed to be installed in the AD Converter WZ-AD96 and WZ-AD9GM. It supplies 8-channel/24-bit/48kHz or 4-channel/24-bit/96kHz data in TDIF format, enabling connection with external DTRS digital tape recorders such as TASCAM DA88, DA38, DA98, or DA78.

Installation requires disconnecting power and removing the standard AES/EBU output block. Users must set DIP switch #1 based on the connected DTRS model (OFF for DA88, ON for others) before inserting and securing the card.
