Press & hold END CALL to open the Phone options menu, from which you can power off or put your phone in silent mode.
Roll the TRACKBALL up/down and left/right to navigate items. Click the TRACKBALL to select a highlighted item.
When in the Camera application, press the CAPTURE button half-way down to focus, then complete the press to take a picture.
