About this manual

The Yamaha YMM2 MIDI Merge Box is designed to expand the versatility of MIDI music systems by combining two separate MIDI signals from IN 1 and IN 2 terminals into a single output signal at the OUT terminal. It also features THRU 1 and THRU 2 terminals to pass received signals through without modification.

The unit includes a MIDI clock filter to prevent conflicts when both input channels contain clock signals, selectable via the POWER ON/OFF switch. It is powered by an external PA-1 power adaptor and features a red LED indicator for power status and buffer overflow warnings.
