This document is the user manual for the Agilent Technologies series 1200 vacuum degasser. The manual includes the features and characteristics of the product.
The Agilent 1200 Series Vacuum Degasser is a four-channel vacuum degasser designed to remove dissolved gases from solvents. It utilizes a vacuum chamber with four plastic tubular membranes and a vacuum pump to create a partial vacuum, allowing gases to transfer from the solvent into the chamber. The device operates in two normal modes and a continuous mode, controlled by an electronic circuit that monitors pressure via a sensor. This manual is written in French.
| Membrane material | plastic |
|---|---|
| Normal operating pressure | 115 Torr |
| Power supply voltage | + 24 V |
| Control circuit voltage | + 12 V |
The degasser has two normal operating modes and one continuous mode. Mode 1 operates at a setpoint of 115 Torr, while Mode 2 operates at intervals between 115 and 190 Torr.
It is used to degas solvents by transferring dissolved gases into a vacuum chamber through plastic tubular membranes.
In normal operation mode 1, the degasser operates at a setpoint of 115 Torr.
The instrument enters Error mode, the status light turns yellow, and the vacuum pump runs continuously.
