The AD7715 is a low-power, 16-bit Sigma-Delta ADC that can operate at 3V/5V. The device has 0.0015% nonlinearity and a programmable gain range of 1-128, and provides a low-pass filter and programmable output update.
The AD7715 is a complete analog front end for low frequency measurement applications designed to accept low level input signals directly from a transducer. It employs a sigma-delta conversion technique to achieve up to 16 bits of no missing codes performance and features a proprietary programmable gain front end with gains of 1, 2, 32, and 128.
The device operates from single supplies of +3 V or +5 V and includes a three-wire serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP protocols. It features on-chip self-calibration and system calibration options to eliminate gain and offset errors, making it ideal for smart systems based on microcontrollers or DSPs.
