The Gamewell PC-1 style fire alarm box pedestal is designed primarily to support fire alarm boxes using underground cable routes. In locations where poles are not available, such as intersections, this pedestal can be readily adapted to accept connections from overhead cable lines.
Accessories include Box Indicating Lights (Model No. 47375) with red lenses and guards, which may be mounted over each fire alarm box using a provided template for cable entrance and anchor bolt positioning. Standard drilled and tapped sub-plates are used for mounting wire terminals inside the pedestal compartment.
The PC-1 style is used specifically to support a fire alarm box only.
