About this manual

The Modicon Momentum platform provides a modular distributed I/O system built from four basic components – I/O bases, communication adapters, processor adapters and option adapters. These elements can be combined to suit any field‑bus network and support PLCs, PCs or dedicated Momentum processors.

The catalog lists the full range of discrete, analog, specialty and multi‑function I/O bases, a variety of communication adapters (Ethernet, Modbus Plus, Profibus DP, DeviceNet, etc.), processor adapters (M1/M1E) and optional adapters for extra networking, clock and battery backup. Technical data, dimensions, mounting options and reference numbers are provided for each product.
