The NanoBoard NB2 is an innovative, reconfigurable development platform that integrates a Xilinx Spartan‑3 FPGA, on‑board power monitoring, a 320×240 color TFT LCD with touch, stereo audio, and a variety of communication interfaces such as RS‑232, CAN, PS/2, USB 2.0 and Ethernet. It supports swappable target‑FPGA and processor daughter boards from major vendors and offers plug‑and‑play detection for rapid system development.
The board ships with a 12‑month Altium Designer license and includes standard peripheral boards for audio/video, mass storage, and Ethernet/IrDA. Users can add up to three peripheral boards and select from Xilinx, Altera or Lattice daughter boards, each providing its own FPGA resources. Extensive online resources and IP core libraries are available to accelerate design work.
