Press the power button and hold it for at least two seconds; also unplug the power cord if the projector will not be used for a long period.
Replace the lamp when the red lamp‑life indicator lights, which occurs after about 2000 hours of use (1500 hours for the MT1045 model).
Unplug the projector from the wall outlet before cleaning any part of it.
