About this manual

The AD8326 is a digitally controlled, high‑output power line driver designed for CATV upstream applications such as cable modems. It provides gain programmable in 0.75 dB steps over a 53.5 dB range, low distortion, and a sleep mode that reduces quiescent current to 4 mA. Two variants, ARP and ARE, support different output power levels while maintaining a 75 Ω output impedance.

The device is supplied in a 28‑lead TSSOP or 28‑lead power SOIC package, operates from a 11.4 V to 12.6 V supply, and features a full‑featured pinout with logic‑compatible inputs. Detailed specifications include gain range, bandwidth, output noise, and power‑control characteristics, and an ordering guide lists part numbers and evaluation boards.
