About this manual

The BD 611, BD 613, BD 615, BD 617 and BD 619 are NPN silicon epibase power transistors supplied in a plastic package similar to TO‑202, with the collector electrically connected to a metallic mounting area. They are suited for push‑pull output stages, driver stages and general audio‑frequency applications. Their complementary PNP types are BD 612, BD 614, BD 616, BD 618 and BD 620.

Key electrical ratings include collector‑emitter voltages from 22 V to 80 V, a maximum collector current of 4 A, and total power dissipation around 15‑16 W at 25 °C. Static and dynamic characteristics such as breakdown voltages, gain, transition frequency and cutoff frequency are listed for each part number.
