About this manual

The AD7703 is a 20‑bit analog‑to‑digital converter designed for high‑resolution, low‑frequency measurements in industrial process control, weighing scales, portable instrumentation and remote data acquisition. It features on‑chip self‑calibration, ultralow power standby mode, and a flexible serial interface that supports both asynchronous UART‑compatible and synchronous modes.

The device provides a 4 kSPS output data rate, selectable unipolar (0 V to 2.5 V) or bipolar (±2.5 V) input ranges, and programmable low‑pass filter corner frequencies from 0.1 Hz to 10 Hz. Detailed specifications include resolution, linearity, power‑supply requirements, pin configuration and timing characteristics.
