About this manual

The O/E/N 53 heavy‑duty relay is designed for demanding applications such as A/C blowers, compressors, engine cooling fans, radiator fans, starter motors, rear window defoggers and battery disconnection. It offers high performance with up to 70 A continuous current, dual contacts, and flat 6.3 mm terminals, making it suitable for resistive, inductive and capacitive loads.

Electrical ratings include a 70 A contact rating at 12 VDC, a maximum switching current of 240 A, and a coil power consumption of about 1.92 W. Mechanical data show a pull and push force of 20 KgF for the cover retention and 10 KgF for the terminals. The relay has been tested for extreme temperature cycling, shock voltage, impact resistance, corrosion and water ingress, all meeting the specified parameters.
