About this manual

The SSM2019 audio preamplifier offers excellent noise performance (1 nV/√Hz at 1 kHz) and ultra‑low THD (<0.01% at G=100). It provides a wide bandwidth of up to 1 MHz at unity gain and a high slew rate of 16 V/ps at G=10. The device is unity‑gain stable, supports true differential inputs, and operates over an extended temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C.

The part is available in 8‑lead PDIP, 8‑lead narrow‑body SOIC, and 16‑lead wide‑body SOIC packages. It requires only a single external resistor to set gain, and includes protection diodes, ESD protection, and a reference terminal for offset correction. Typical applications include microphone preamplifiers, bus summing amplifiers, audio mixing consoles, intercom systems, and sonar.
