VGA over Cat5e/6 Range Extenders (up to 300m) utilises cost effective and readily available Cat5e/6 cable, allowing extended distances to be quickly and easily covered between AV source and display devices.
The CIE Group VGA over Cat5e/6 range extenders use inexpensive Cat5e/6 cable to extend VGA video (and audio) signals up to 300 m. The basic system consists of a transmitter unit and a receiver unit, with optional split‑screen configurations for multiple displays.
The product line includes several transmitter models (AVE‑301T, AVE‑304T, AVE‑308T, AVE‑316T) and corresponding receivers or transceivers (AVE‑301R, AVE‑304TR, AVE‑308TR). Each model’s specifications such as port count, LED indicators, video resolution, and physical dimensions are listed in the handbook.
