AD9958 is a 2-channel, 500 MSPS DDS with 10-Bit DACs
The AD9958 combines two DDS cores that each provide independent frequency, phase and amplitude control, synchronized by a common system clock. It features two integrated 10‑bit DACs, a selectable 4×‑20× REFCLK multiplier, and a serial SPI‑compatible I/O port with four programmable data pins. The device operates from 1.8 V analog supplies and a 3.3 V digital I/O supply, and it meets industrial temperature specifications (‑40 °C to +85 °C).
Typical applications include agile local oscillators, phased‑array radars, instrumentation, synchronized clocking, RF sources for AOTF, and quadrature communications. The datasheet provides detailed specifications, pin configurations, timing characteristics, and recommended application circuits.
