This manual introduces how to use the HTC Desire S phone.
This guide starts with everything you’ll find inside the box, a hardware overview of the phone’s front, back and side panels, and instructions for inserting the battery, SIM and microSD cards. It then walks you through basic operations such as powering the device on and off, entering your PIN, adjusting volume, and using the home screen, widgets and shortcuts.
Later sections cover personalizing the device (wallpapers, themes, sound sets), making and receiving calls, sending SMS/MMS, managing contacts, using email, calendar, web browsing, camera and video recording, music playback, and connecting to Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, VPN and USB tethering. The manual also explains security settings, software updates, battery‑saving tips, and how to use HTC‑specific services like HTC Sense, HTC Sync and online accounts.
